Essentially, the region above London and below Scotland had recently combined disparate economic development bureaus into a larger, more efficient entity—thus, making it easier for North American companies to locate there. The question became, “what should we do with all the red tape they removed?” The print ads were to give some ideas—while more were to be had on a microsite. Also, some memorable “red tape” premiums were to be used to help their sales reps open doors. Ultimately, this idea was rejected. I include it because it is an example of the way I prefer to approach assignments—looking at the big picture, making everything work together.
